The Utility Group

The Utlity group is probably the most mixed group, as the breeds it contains are largely those that do not fit into any other group. When the various breeds began to be divided, there was an initial division between sporting and non-sporting breeds and it is from the latter that the Utilities were eventually drawn out into a group of their own.

The following breeds are all recognised by the English Kennel Club and listed under the Utility Group.
